Categories

Each year  4 prizes will be awarded.

Nordic Watch Awards Unlimited

Open category, no limitations in price. The watch or clock must have a mechanical movement.

Nordic Watch Awards Challenger

Retail price maximum 20,000 SEK. No limitations on movements. Quartz and mechanical movements are welcome.

Nordic Watch Awards Person of the year

Person who made something special for the Nordic watch industry.

Nordic Watch Awards Jury Special Prize

The Jury reserves the right to also hand out a special prize.

Rules

Every Nordic watch brand may nominate a total maximum of three watches in two different categories; Unlimited and Challenger. (see Categories)

The watches must be recent releases: The model may have come to market June 2024 or later. Earlier models will not be accepted. Updated models, i.e changed dial is considered a new model.

Nominations are to be made before August 30, 2025. The watches must not be finalised at the time of nomination, but functioning prototypes must be lent to the jury for physical examination latest on October 10, 10.00. The watches will be returned to the brands on that day. If functioning prototypes cannot be lent on this date, the watch will not be eligible for selection by the jury.

Participation in Nordic Watch Awards 2025 is free of charge for the watch brands.
